The success of Skyfall can be attributed to any number of the film’s cogs. Its locations unapologetically stole the audience’s breath, its plot intrigued, and the dialogue was as sharp as ever. Upon exiting the theater, I didn’t have a problem with any of that. It was the quintessential Bond film. I did, however, take issue with the villain.
